Thank you so much for stopping by. My name is Jurgita and I'm the face behind Four Oaks Photography. I'm a wife to my wonderful husband, my rock, my biggest fan and supporter, and a mother to our four wonderful boys. Our boys are the main reason behind my love affair with photography as I craved to capture every tiny detail and document their milestones from the moment they were born. And as my sons grew from tiny toddlers to big boys and young men, I decided to start this journey of creating memories for other growing families as well.

Fact 01

I was born and raised in small European country of Lithuania. Emigrated to United Sates with my parents and sister in mid 90's, and it has been my home for more than 25 years.

As a young child I was always mesmerized by photography but growing up in Soviet occupied country it was rare for regular families to have cameras to capture their everyday lives. Later as a teen I got my first camera, but I only had handful of photographs of my early childhood, and always wished I had more. This sparked my desire to meaningfully document every moment of my babies’ lives as much as it was possible, from simple snapshots to making sure that composition was right, light was beautiful, and every shot sparked emotion. That’s why I want to give you photographs of your family that you wish you had of your childhood.

Fact 02

My sons are behind inspiration for my business name Four Okas Photography.

You see in my birth country Lithuania; Oak trees are symbols of strength, courage and safety. And in many instances in my culture a boy, a son, a young man is regarded as Oak. As a mother of four sons, I often hear from my family and friends how fortunate and safe I am behind my four strong Oaks. They are my strength, they give me courage, they are my four Oaks. And let’s admit it; an Oak is truly photogenic tree too.
